Animal Dental Care and Oral Surgery was founded in 2003 with a mission to provide the highest quality specialty dental care for pets in Southern Colorado. Since that time our clinic has also become a leader in dentistry training for general practice veterinarians and their staffs from all over the world. Our Colorado Springs training center provides monthly lectures and wet labs for hundreds of veterinarians and technicians each year. Dr. Patrick Vall became the new owner of Animal Dental Care and Oral Surgery in 2017 and has enjoyed building his clinic into a practice of excellence as the only veterinary specialty dental facility in Southern Colorado.
Animal Dental Care and Oral Surgery is located within the Veterinary Specialty Center with Southern Colorado Internal Veterinary Medicine, Mountain View Veterinary Surgery, Animal ER Care, Colorado Canine Orthopedics and Animal Allergy & Dermatology. Our facility is the leader in specialty veterinary services for Southern Colorado. We are the only facility in southern Colorado with veterinarians that are board certified by the American Veterinary Dental College. We provide comprehensive services in oral surgery, periodontology, endodontics, prosthodontics and orthodontics. Animal Dental Care and Oral Surgery was the first veterinary facility in Colorado to have cone beam CT scanning capabilities for their dental patients.
In addition to specialty services, our practice specializes in dental cases that require more involved anesthetic administration and monitoring than many routine cases. We work closely with PEAK Veterinary Anesthesia Services for these cases. Our partnerships with other specialists allow us to work together with emergencies and overnight care as well as advanced diagnostics to better diagnose and treat oral diseases and injuries.
Animal Dental Care and Oral Surgery has additional locations in Denver and Fort Collins, CO, in addition to Bozeman, Montana. These locations allow our team of board-certified veterinary dentists to provide the same level of care to our Denver, Fort Collins and Bozeman clients as we do in Colorado Springs.
Our location teams are dedicated to pursuing extensive annual continuing education courses in veterinary dentistry, anesthesia and pain management. Each year 15-20 of our team members attend the Veterinary Dental Forum provided by the Foundation for Veterinary Dentistry at locations around the United States.
Since 2018, all of our locations have undergone extensive renovations. The designs of our facilities have been influenced by an architect who specializes in creating low-stress environments for people and pets.
