Dr. Kipp Wingo was born and raised in East Texas where active in the family farming and ranching enterprises.
AFTER graduating with honors from Texas A&M University College of Veterinary Medicine in 1990, he owned and operated mixed animal practices in Texas.
With a desire to further his education and become among the elite in his field, Dr. Wingo completed veterinary dentistry and oral surgical residency-training program and achieved board certification in 2017.
“My love of veterinary dentistry started in general practice where I learned the basics of good veterinary dentistry. I found an intense emotional satisfaction because I saw the positive impact my new knowledge and skills have had on my patients’ health and ultimately their owners. That prompted my early love of veterinary dentistry, which morphed to what I am doing today.” He enjoys sharing the knowledge and skills he has mastered.
Dr. Wingo is a past member of the board of directors of the Texas Veterinary Medical Association (TVMA) and is the past President of the Texas Academy of Veterinary Practice, the continuing education arm of the TVMA. He is also one of seventeen veterinarians that held designation of Certified Veterinary Practice Manager. He now leads the specialty in continuing education for the Phoenix Valley.
Dr. Wingo frequently lectures and instructs hands-on learning nationally and internationally.
In his spare time Dr. Wingo enjoys, travel, hunting, fishing, snow and water skiing, off-roading, cooking, reading and gardening.
